I was called to gather in ceremony with sound journey on the 5th of March. This led me to reflect upon the number 5 for its symbolism related to balance and change.

From biology and astronomy to faith and religion, the number five has special meaning and significance.

·        We have five senses — sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste — to experience the world.

·        We also have five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot.

·        In Hinduism, the god Shiva has five faces.

·        In the ancient Oriental medicine tradition, there are 5 elements – Water, Wood, Earth, Fire, Metal. The cycle of the seasons associates Spring with the Wood element.

Both balance and change are very relevant as we are approaching the Spring Equinox on the 20th of March. Spring is a time of balance, renewal, and welcoming new life into the world and into our inner landscape. In this abundantly creative time for celebration, we are invited to bring joy into our life, making sure we don’t miss it, getting lost in the seriousness of our busy life.

Equinox means equal-night and marks the time at which the sun crosses the celestial equator, when day and night are of equal length.

This recalls concepts of Equality, equilibrium, balance.
To honor these cosmic principles will be working with Fragonia Sacred Oil. Like the perfect balance of the golden ratio that Fragonia is emblematic of (expressed through its chemistry) we have to thrive, just like nature itself, to maintain our inner balance.
